Senator Ted Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor

Following Ted Kennedy's seizure a few days ago, doctors have discovered a malignant tumor in his brain. Malignant glioma is the most common primary brain tumor, accounting for more than half of the 18,000 primary malignant brain tumors diagnosed each year in the United States. Senator Kennedy will have to go through radiation and chemotherapy as part of his treatment.
