After David Blaine's "dive of death", people are not wondering if Criss Angel is dead. Right now, we don't have a definitive yes or no answer, but chances are he's not dead.

Kurt Angle said "It blew my mind, my nerves were shot. I thought it was a stunt that definitely went wrong. I saw him chained; I saw him in the car and saw him go over (the edge). I thought 'Oh my god, this is a tragedy, something went wrong'."

Keep in mind, there have been rumors floating around recently that a number of different celebrities might be dead. Most people DO NOT think Criss Angel is dead.
