Google just announced that you can now search through magazines using the Google Book Search. Google is working with magazine companies like New York Magazine, Popular Mechanics and Ebony.

Some archived magazines date back as far as 1973. Google is just starting out with their magazine archives, so you can expect (hopefully) every published magazine to be searchable soon.
